Can I write where I am registered on the Invitation?

Wedding gifts are a great way to help married couples get a head start on their lives together. By registering for gifts the bride and groom are able to select items that they would like, to assist their guests in choosing a wedding gift. The best way to let your guests know where they can find your selected items is by word of mouth. Make sure you tell your families and bridal party where you are registered so they can help spread the word. If you write where you are registered on your wedding invitation it comes across that you are asking for a gift. The wedding invitation is meant to invite guests to come witness and celebrate the joining of two lives into one. The guests that choose to give a gift to the bride and groom will ask where they are registered.
